Plot:

Teenage girls and boys at a Catholic School named St. Rita's Academy decide to throw a Halloween party at the old Hull House. One of the victims from the last film, Angela, has returned from the afterlife as the vengeful spirit that rules Hull House. Angela's kid sister Melissa, who goes to school at St. Rita's, has been tricked into going to the party at Hull House. Melissa is the "ugly, weird girl" at school and her nickname is Mouse. Angela has planned to sacrifice her own "blood" to Satan in order to rule the world.

There are a couple new ideas to this film. First of all, the entire film doesn't take place at Hull House. Thank God. The party goers go to Hull House and actually freaks out with all the weird occurrences and leaves to return to St. Rita's. One of the party goers dies/gets possessed at the house, but they leave him. Gee, no one cared about him.

One of the girls, Bibi...yeah, Bibi...brings a tube of lipstick that she found in the house's bathroom, with her back to the school. Apparently, if you remembered from the first flick, evil spirits couldn't cross the underground water stream, but when Bibi took the lipstick back, the spirits traveled across the stream and are free to wreck havoc on the world. So they used a little imagination in this one. Well eventually the lipstick comes back to haunt them as it unleashes a evil spirit worm that goes on to rape Shirley and possess her.

Another good idea, was incorporating the Catholic school. This idea just stole the show. St. Rita's two head honchos are Father Bob and Sister Gloria. Father Bob resides over the boys at the school and Sister Gloria over the girls.

I started off hating the Sister Gloria character. She was like the overly strict stereotypical nun. She ruled the school with a yard stick, constantly separating any female-male contact by swinging the stick between them and remarking, "Save a little room for the Holy Ghost." Puke! But then the evil spirits showed up at the school and Sister Gloria transformed into Rambo Nun. It was awesome! Sister G kicking ass and taking names.

The film definitely raised the bar on it's TNA content. A couple sets of "twins" within the first five minutes, and didn't stop there. NOTD2 also used a girls set of "twins" in a death scene. Right on!

The dirty school girl, Shirley (possessed by this point) was dancing at the school's Halloween dance and lured her boyfriend Ricky in a little closer by unbuttoning her top off on the dance floor exposing her fun bags. Ricky took the bait and put his paws on the goods. Her twins then transformed into evil jaws of death, grasping onto Ricky's hands. Talk about Boobie Trap!

Also, the women in the film were a lot hotter than the first NOTD. Leading the way was the beautiful Christine Taylor (pictured right). F*ck You Ben Stiller, You LUCKY Bastard! I'm sorry, but Taylor is too f*ckin' hot for Ben Stiller to have. She played the character Terri and unfortunately didn't show her "twins", but did give us the pleasure of bouncing around in her bra a few times. Well what do you expect from a successful actress? Her career just isn't over yet. And as long as she stays hitched to Ben, she probably won't be showing them any time soon.

Pictured left is actress Cristi Harris (Bibi), and she did an excellent job on using her female assets. She had a pretty long and decent sex scene, not afraid to show off her top for an extended...he he..extended...period of time. And she was the lead female role! The rest of the film...well...she just didn't do anything but be pleasant on the eyes.

Other characters of note, Robert Jayne (Perry) played the kid Melvin in the first and third Tremor movies. Remember him, the smart ass kid in the flick. Yep, his career took off. And hasn't changed a bit.

Perry is the school's evil spirit researching geek. He's the one that owns all the weird witch craft and demon books. Perry eventually becomes one of the cool heroic Rambo guys using water guns filled with Holy Water to defeat possessed demonic characters. You heard me right, water guns with Holy Water. That's just wicked!

Wow! Who knew they would turn this franchise into a trilogy? Unfortunately I can't find a copy of the third one to view. But the second one...wayyyy better than the first movie. The first movie excelled in 80's slasher cheesiness, and this one took the crown for mid-90's campiness. It's definitely a "must watch" on crap movie night.

Another excellent thing that NOTD2 brought to the world, were it's awesome lines. Like when Terri asks Sister Gloria if kissing is a sin. Sister Gloria's response, "A kiss is a sin, when an upper persuasion for a lower invasion." Classic.

Misc. Movie Trivia:
-Released straight to video on August 31, 1994
-Some scenes were used from the first Night of the Demons
